Move #9 Brush Knee


NOT putting all the weight to the front foot in preparation for twist-step.

Extra Stretching:

For opening the joints, careful not to over stretch the tendons.      


Sink weight down into front leg hip-joint and extend right arm forward at shoulder height.

Self Assessment:

After doing the move 10 times how many times can you reach the objective? 

If you can reach the following objective 5 times or more you can go to the next move.   

  1. Feet are in proper directions

  2. Correct stepping

  3. The shoulders and the hips in sync with each other.

  4. Not having all the weight on the front foot.
