Move #16 Apparent Close-up

Start Posture Description

Most of the weight is on the left foot. Right leg is straight and both feet are flat on the floor. The shoulders and hips are squared to the left foot.

  • Left arm is round with the palm down above the knee. 
  • Right arm is straight and fist is forward. Thumb lined up to the center of the body.

Step by Step Instruction

Rise up from left foot, both legs straight. Rotate the left forearm - palm under the right forearm, open the right hand. 

Sink down to right foot, right elbow follows the hip down, separating the arms. Both palms are facing you with both elbows dropped. 

Rise up from right foot, both legs straight.  Turn the palms out. 

Sink down to the left foot and push both palms out to shoulder-height, thumbs towards the center.

Square the hips to the left foot, keeping the right leg straight

End Posture  Description

Most of the weight is on the left foot. Right leg is straight and both feet are flat on the floor. The shoulders and hips are squared to the left foot.

  • Both palms are extended forward at shoulder level.
